- Intermediate (Pre-Engineering) / A-Level / Equivalent (with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) with 60% Minimum Marks OR
DAE with 60% Minimum Marks
- Matric / O-Level / Equivalent with 60% Minimum Marks
- All Non-HSC Candidates to obtain Equivalence Certificates from IBCC
BS Computing / BS Mobile & Ubiquitous Computing:
- Intermediate / A-Level / Equivalent with 50% Minimum Marks
- All Non-HSC Candidates to obtain Equivalence Certificates from IBCC

For the purpose of determining Merit, Candidates having passed Cambridge High School Certificate Examination / General Certificate of Education (A-Level), the Grades obtained in these Examinations will be equated as Follows:

SCHOLARSHIPS & FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE INFORMATION
Two Main Methods of providing Financial Assistance are “Fee Concession” and “Scholarships” All Scholarships cover Full or Partial Tuition Fee, however, in some cases Scholarships may include Books, Boarding, Transportation, Monthly Stipend and Admission Fee.
SZABIST Funded Merit-Based Scholarships:
Eligibility Criterion for Merit Scholarship is 3.50 GPA. Scholarships are awarded from Second Semester for any Program and are renewable for each Semester depending on the Students’ Performance.
SZABIST Funded Need-Based Scholarships:
Students are eligible to apply for Need-Based Scholarships from First Semester onwards.
SZABIST Half-Fee Exemption:
SZABIST will provide 25% Off in Tuition Fee (Rs. 19,350 / $450 for Foreign Nationals) Per Semester to each admitted Student in BE Mechatronics (Karachi Campus), BS Computing (Islamabad Campus) and BS Mobile & Ubiquitous Computing (Islamabad Campus) registered for Full Load in a Semester
